“ Marcella on Fullerton was packed when we got there, which is always a good sign. All the food was tasty, but my eggs looked a bit strange—though I still ate them. The cheesy bread was toasty and yummy, and the combination of rice, beans, eggs, and steak was really delicious. The cafe con leche hit the spot, making the meal even better! ”
“ This place has delicious food!! If you don't know about it, I suggest you find out!! Great service and comfortable atmosphere! I had a steak sandwich with puerto rican rice. Absolutely delicious!! The only problem is that they close early!! So get there early and get your eat on!! ”
“ I really enjoyed the steak jibarito and cafe con leche. My daughters liked the tasty pancakes, fries, and mango smoothie. It is a cozy place and cannot wait to try the other sandwiches. ”
“ This place is the BEST sandwich shop in all of Chicago. Not just the best cuban, but the best overall...no competition. This place got me through college and I will continue coming here until I'm dead. The staff is incredibly warm and friendly and the owner/chef seems to always remember me when I stop by. The food is FRESH and tasty and has a great selection. I cannot recommend Marcelas enough. ”
“ This is clearly the community spot! So many people in to pickup food or eat there. Yummy sandwiches that can be customized with the cheese, toppings, and proteins. The egg and cheese sandwich really hit the spot! The staff were very nice and brought the food out to my table. Fair prices too! Great to warm up on a snow day. ”
“ Lovely small cafe. The coffee and ambiance are amazing. Small cafe with delicious breakfast sandwiches and empanadas. Great place for a quick bite to eat. ”
“ Cannot remember for the life of me who recommended this place to my dad when i was a teen but we would travel from the southwest side all the way up north just to get the sandwiches here! then i got married & now live very close so of COURSE its so hype i have closer access to it. We would get the sandwich de pollo con lechon and thats what i still get to this day. And their cafe con leche is so fire. The atmosphere is so cute and the service is a 10/10 so friendly! ”
“ Great spot for lunch. I love the lechon and chicken guisado. If you don't want to load up on a full plate, their sandwiches are awesome -- great bread. Almost like a Puerto Rican po'boy. ”
